Theo began his career in recruitment over 8 years ago assisting people with “disabilities” into the workplace. He soon discovered that people don’t have “disabilities” but in fact “different abilities” leading him to assist people in the workforce.
He has the ability to recognise the potential in people. Theo loves seeing how people’s skills and confidence develop when given the opportunity in a workplace that is appropriate for them. However, he is not afraid of having an honest conversation regarding candidate suitability.
Theo is a firm advocate of “Quality over Quantity”. Building long-term productive relationships with clients and candidates is what drives him, and this principle forms the foundation of DRIVE. Being a hands-on Director, he enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operations of the business offering expert advice and tailored solutions for both temporary and permanent staffing needs. With 25 years of experience in the private sector he understands that time is money.
Theo started DRIVE as a specialist recruitment agency, providing a solution to the industry wide shortage of truck drivers. After a successful start, DRIVE has expanded providing staffing solutions to companies in Warehousing, Logistics, Traffic Management, Manufacturing, Civil Construction and now even the Health Sector. Theo enjoys the challenge of working with organisations across a wide range of industries and look forward to what growth the future holds.
